Lauren York has been selected as Professional of the Year in Environmental Consulting for 2011-2012
BOULDER, CO, August 16, 2011 /Environment PR News/ -- Lauren K. York, Owner of Weecycle Environmental Consulting, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in environmental consulting.
Ms. York has 17 years of experience in being her own boss, and has loved every second of it. She pursued a career in consulting through her desire to work for herself and form her own company. She has since gained expertise in asbestos project management, surveys and project designs, work compilation, contractor site walk-through, and bid selection process development. As an owner of Weecycle Environmental Consulting, she acts as a primary source for company occupational health and risk assessments, handles all training, tracks and regulates project costs, and oversees personnel for many large projects.
In 1978, Ms. York earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Idaho. Ten years later, she became a certified paralegal through the Denver Paralegal Institute. She holds multiple industry-related certifications, and is a member of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Boulder County Independent Business Alliance, and the Colorado Environmental Professionals Association.
