Cambridge Who's Who Names Lisa Brown Professional of the Year in Performance Improvement

BEACH PARK, IL, August 19, 2011 /Environment PR News/ -- Lisa R. Brown, Performance Improvement, Accreditation and Evaluation Specialist for Exelon Corporation, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Performance Improvement. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.
Ms. Brown has served the energy industry for 13 years, spending the last two years as a performance improvement, accreditation and evaluation specialist for Exelon Corporation. Her background in electronics, training, and accreditation assists her when coordinating department and instructional training; reviewing operations, technology and curricula; holding seminars, maintaining standards, and performing evaluations.
In the midst of raising a family, Ms. Brown earned a master's degree in education from Dominican University, a feat of which she is most proud, and is pursuing an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. She is a member of several affiliations, including the Golden Key International Honour Society, the North American Young Generation in Nuclear, the Network of Exelon Women, the American Society for Training & Development, and U.S.Women in Nuclear. A chairperson of the Byron Nuclear Station Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Ms. Brown intends to become a director in the future.
