OTTAWA, ON, CANADA, May 15, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Dr. Adrian Demayo, PhD has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his remarkable professional career. As an Environmental Analyst, Dr. Demayo has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Dr. Demayo is an environmental expert with an outstanding national and international reputation. He is responsible for evaluating environmental projects and laboratories as well as providing consultation for major businesses. Dr. Demayo has worked for over 35 years in the federal Departments of Energy, Mines and Resources, Environment, and Industry, and the World Bank. He has conducted research in the fate of some organic compounds in water, was the lead scientist in the development of a computerized Canadian water quality data bank, was part of a team developing the Canadian Water Quality Guidelines, and worked in the analysis and presentation of environmental data.
During his collegiate career, Dr. Demayo earned a PhD in Chemistry from Carlton University and a Master of Business Administration degree. Throughout his spectacular professional career, he has provided environmental expertise to various international agencies such as the World Health Organization, Pan American Health Organization, World Meteorological Organization, United Nations Development Program, and the Inter American Organization of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering. Dr. Demayo currently serves as the Chair of the Advisory Council of the Canadian Association of Environmental Analytical Laboratories.
