EUCI's The Future of Renewable Energy Development in Hawaii
At this summit we will identify specific challenges and opportunities associated with renewable energy development in the Hawaiian Islands.
HONOLULU, HI, November 03, 2011 /Environment PR News/ -- EUCI's two-day event to support the goals of Hawaii's Clean Energy Initiative will help energy industry leaders discover important issues and strategies that need to be addressed in energy development. It will help them find realistic and practical solutions involving energy policy and legislative and regulatory efforts to attain clean energy goals.
Interactive participation with state legislators, representatives, legal, financial and development experts will lead this event. The sessions will include important energy topics such as policy, legislation, financing, military initiatives, ocean development, land acquisition and renewable energy grid integration. Experts include representatives from Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO), Sempra Generation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the US Pacific Command Energy Office, the Hawaii State Legislature, and the Public Utilities Commission.
The event will be held December 12-13, 2011 in Honolulu, HI at the Hyatt Regency.
