Beechwood Equipment Ltd gains UKAS ISO14001:2004 Accreditation
Beechwood Equipment was recently awarded ISO14001:2004 accreditation by Direct Assessment Services (DAS) a UKAS registered accreditation organisation. Certificate Number EMS UK-002.
November 21, 2011 /Environment PR News/ -- Beechwood Equipment is based in Surrey and was founded in 1987. In addition to the new ISO14001 accreditation the company is ISO9001;2008 UKAS accredited and is an approved MoD supplier NCAGE: KOF-83. The company specialises in the supply of optical sights, electro optical devices including night vision, thermal vision, and ancillary equipment to UK law enforcement agencies and UK Ministry of Defence.

ISO 14000 series is an Environmental Standards that is regulated by the ISO Standard development committee TC 207. This series is designed to cover the whole area of environmental aspects for organisations, assisting them as a solid framework to identify, prioritise, manage and control environmental risks.
