SES 21 USA Helps Bring Systems to Habitat for Humanity
SES 21 USA joins forces with Bosch Solar, Schletter Mounting Systems, and SolarTek to bring Solar Electricity Systems to Habitat for Humanity.
DALLAS, TX, October 13, 2011 /Environment PR News/ -- SES 21 USA has joined with Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, Bosch Solar Energy and Schletter Mounting Systems to make a great charity project come true. Thirteen Habitat for Humanity homes in Dallas, Texas are going to receive free solar energy systems on their roofs as a result of these joint efforts.
During a first educational evening 13 families were provided information about solar energy in general and how solar systems could help reduce their electricity bills. All thirteen families who live in a West Dallas suburb signed up and were enthusiastic about reducing their reliance on utility companies. Chet Boortz, CEO of SES 21 USA, also present at the first meeting commented "It's a privilege to work in cooperation with an organization the stature of Habitat for Humanity. Dallas Habitat does such outstanding work and builds these homes to exacting efficiency standards. The addition of even small-scale grid-tied PV systems provides meaningful savings to homeowners that often pay the highest electricity rates in deregulated retail markets. It's a perfect fit."
The complete solar energy system consists of four panels and is estimated to produce about 1291 kWh of free electricity annually per residence. The 230 kW solar panels are being donated by Bosch Solar Energy. This past year Bosch announced record breaking efficiency in Bosch solar cells and SES 21 is excited to use these high quality panels for this project. The racking on the systems will be made possible by Schletter Mounting Systems. Schletter is known for customized racking and have mounting options for nearly any type of roof, carport or charging station.
Installation of these systems will commence soon by the Dallas / Fort Worth office of SolarTek Energy. Please contact us for more information on the installation, progress of the project and follow up to the project.
