During his educational career, Mr. Halfe completed numerous courses at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. George also earned the distinction of being a 5th Class Power Engineer.
Mr. Halfe is a member of the Board of Directors Northern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association. He was also on the Advisory Board of From Vision to Venture, which was a report profiling successful Aboriginal businesses and proposing practice guidelines based on common success factors. George is also a licensed auctioneer.
