John Douglas Dewar to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
John Douglas Dewar celebrates over 15 years in the financial industry
KESWICK, ON, June 04, 2010 /Environment PR News/ -- John Douglas Dewar, Senior Lead Auditor for JDas, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in finance management.
With 16 years of professional experience, Mr. Dewar specializes in systems management and investment tax credits. He is responsible for consulting on contract basis for companies, writing audit reports, administering on-site and SR&ED audits, developing and implementing management systems for environmental, quality, safety, research and development, and performing CO2 tracking and reduction programs. After working in the financial industry for 16 years and serving as a senior lead auditor for 12, he realized that he wanted to have more control over his career and decided to start a consultancy business in 2010. He attributes his success to his abilities to focus on minor and major details, view circumstances from a wide perspective and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Recently certified as a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) auditor, he is currently working with the Rainforest Alliance. He also received a certification in Manufacturing Engineering from Sir Sandford Fleming College, and he is a certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 lead auditor. He is a former nominee for federal office on the Green Party ticket and is the chief executive officer of the York-Simcoe Federal Green Party. In 2001, he implemented corporate multi-site health and safety programs, and served as the lead auditor in charge of implementing ISO9001 QMS for five paper mills. He was also responsible for developing a corporate SR+ED program and for increasing investment tax credits by 350 percent over three years.
