Dwight Anderson Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Technology Management and Engineering

Dwight Anderson produces biofuels from non-food sources

    FEDERAL WAY, WA, November 11, 2010 /Environment PR News/ -- Dwight Anderson, Bioconversion Lead for Catchlight Energy LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in technology management and engineering.

Dwight Anderson has 22 years of experience in the profession, with three years of experience as the bioconversion lead for Catchlight Energy LLC. He is responsible for overseeing the production of biofuels from non-food sources. He became involved in his profession because he found the nature of raw material used in biofuel production to be fascinating and wanted to be a part of bioconversion research.

Prior to joining Catchlight Energy LLC, Mr. Anderson contributed his knowledge and expertise to Weyerhaeuser for 20 years. From 2006 to 2008, he worked as a research and development manager in the cellulose fibers division; from 2000 to 2006, he served as fiber sciences manager in the research and development division; from 1998 to 2000, he was stationed as a manufacturing services manager; from 1996 to 1998, he labored in paper machine technology research and development; from 1993 to 1996 he was a field research engineer on special assignment; and from 1988 to 1990, he was employed in the pulping bleaching and raw materials division.

Dr. Anderson holds a master of business administration from the University of Washington, a Ph.D. in chemical engineering and a master's degree in chemical engineering from Washington State University, and a bachelor of science in physics from Seattle Pacific University. He is an advisory board member of The Gene and Linda Voiland School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering.
