Michael E. Molina Named to Exclusive Registry's Roster
Molina, a renowned coral reef biology expert, developed an interest in the subject at an early age
Honolulu, HI, September 7, 2009 /Environment PR News/ -- Michael E. Molina, Coastal Conservation Program leader for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Pacific Islands Office, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership, and excellence in marine biology.
Michael E. Molina, a marine biologist for the past 30 years, has dedicated his career to the management of U.S. and international marine and coastal environments in the Pacific in his quest to reduce the degradation and loss of coral reefs and coastal habitats through the development of simplified approaches and innovative solutions to complex environmental problems. He has held the position of Pacific Islands Coastal Conservation Coordinator for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service since 1998 and has since become a recognized authority in the protection and preservation of the region's coral reef and coastal resources. Fascinated by biology at an early age, Mr. Molina went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of San Diego in 1971 and a Master's Degree in Marine Biology from the University of Guam Marine Laboratory in 1981. He attributes his success to his persistence, willingness to learn, and openness to new experiences.
